My husband Ron and I have over the years have figured out how to make our own solid wood frames. Even my brother Nick has helped a ton to cut boards on the sawmill. The whole process and tedious, but its worth it. We start with with fallen timber that normally has fallen from a storm. They are from our own property and we cut and stack boards to dry over a year. Our favorite wood specie is Alder. Its absolutely beautiful! Each piece is unique and one of a kind. Hopefully, as the years go by I can upgrade some of my frame designs.
